Routes: tourist flights over the Florentine Chianti hills and the Sienesi Cretes The flight lasts 45 mininutes to 1h-1h½. After landing a glass of champagne is offered, in order to celebrate this unique experience. For security reasons, the flight takes place only in perfect weather conditions. Special balloon flights for the disabled are organized. For information and booking, contact the association.

How to get here

The Aerostatic Port is located in Fonte dei Chiostrini, on SP101 in the Municipality of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. By car: take the “Firenze- Siena” freeway, exit San Donato, and turn right towards Morrocco-Tavarnelle. Once you pass the area of Morrocco, the Aerostat Port is on your left. By bus: Busitalia (direction Siena), get off in Tavarnelle Val di Pesa and, from here, continue walking to the Aerostat Port (check the schedule as the flights are very early in the morning, after dawn).

How to get here

By car: Motorway A1 towards Bologna exit at Barberino del Mugello and follow the sign "Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello", then state road SS65 ("Bolognese") passing through San Piero a Sieve or State road SS302 ("Faentina") passing through Polcanto, Borgo San Lorenzo. For Grand Prix events only, public transport: train to Borgo San Lorenzo and S. Piero a Sieve and, from there, regular shuttle buses to the circuit.

How to get here

By car: regional road SS2 Cassia, or motorway A1. The village is situated just 2 km from SS2 Cassia Road, near km 162, between S. Quirico d'Orcia and Acquapendente. If you go towards Chianciano Terme on the motorway, follow the directions to Monte Amiata , then Bagni San Filippo. By train: direction Rome get off at Chiusi-Chianciano Terme station, and then direct bus to Santa Fiora or, otherwise, by taxi.

Panoramic flights over the most attractive parts of the Chianti region (San Gimignano, Montaione, Barberino Val D'Elsa), the area between Florence and Siena, Siena and the Etruscan countryside around Volterra. In case of adverse weather conditions, the flight will be postponed. Flights take place early in the morning or late in the afternoon and last about 50 to 70 minutes. After the flight you can enjoy refreshments with a glass of sparkling wine and you will receive a "First flight certificate". The number of passengers can vary from 2 to 7 and reservations must be done at least 5 days before the flight. In case of cancellation the fee is not refundable.

How to get here

By car: take the “Firenze-Siena” freeway, exit-Poggibonsi, following the signs to PAM parking (meeting place). By bus: Busitalia to Poggibonsi, and from here by taxi. In order to reach the other launching fields contact the association.
